This year AM’s Racing Team took part in the South Point Championships which were held at the Bredasdorp Raceway tracks, in Western Cape. Excitement filled the air as the racing teams prepared themselves for the Big contest. Jaco and Zain from Team AM, which is sponsored by AM.CO.ZA both took part and scooped a few wins for the day.
Jaco who drives (Car A100) came out 2nd in the first race , he then came out 1st in the second race and lastly, 2nd in the third race. He accumulated the most points in the class that he was competing in and was on pole for the final race.Unfortunately he could not proceed to the finals due to a mechanical failure in his car , however, he was rewarded for his achievements as ‘’driver of the day’’.

Zain, who drives (Car A88) on the other hand was overwhelmed with excitement. He surely had a good race meeting on that day. His level of confidence is growing in this thing called racing. He achieved 3rd place in the finals, making this his first ever trophy win. This got him on a natural high and had him doing a victory dance around the Raceway tracks. If anything Zain and Jaco have surely put Team AM on the map.
